So, I haven’t written anything new for a month and work has been crazy busy the past couple weeks…

Well, imagine my surprise when the idea for this vignette hit me while I was out walking my dog this morning. Man, did it feel great to write! Of course, now I’m behind on some work I need to get done for tomorrow, but that’s okay because I got my thoughts down on paper and I feel better. 🙂

This vignette is about Unruhe and explores what Mulder might have felt after Scully’s ordeal with Gerald Schnauz. She was obviously very shaken up by what happened with him, but I thought it would be interesting to delve into what Mulder might have been feeling afterwards.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I do appreciate it.

Been awhile since I’ve read anything XF. Found this tonight and thought I’d read it.

Great story. The characters were spot on as usual. So many emotions running through this one. Thanks for the memories.

This reminded me of how much I liked Unruhe. I always love your followup stories as Mulder and Scully deal with the aftermath of these cases. And of course “I’m fine” is the red flag that one of them is definitely NOT fine. So glad you got inspired!

Thanks, Lenore! I appreciate your comments. There were so many episodes over the years that were never followed through on, and this was one of them. Scully looked pretty depressed as she was typing on her computer in that final scene…
